Movies When I Feel Like It

I talk about movies I've seen recently.
As Good As It Gets (1997) This is such a fantastic movie.  Jack Nicholson’s portrayal of someone with OCD is brilliant and although you are pissed at him the entire movie, you feel for him because there is an emotional human being inside crying out to be normal.  Helen Hunt also gives a great performance, as does Greg Kinnear.  It’s touching, emotional, sad, happy; magical.  It has everything a movie should have.  Right from the moment it starts and Melvin (Jack Nicholson) is shown doing his compulsions it pulls you in.  You have to see more.  You have to know just who this character is and what he is all about and then you start to feel for Helen Hunt’s character and want more! Hans Zimmer also composed a fantastic score for the film that is touching, and a little quirky, which I love.  Scores are my favourite thing and when I hear a good one, it’s so wonderful. It’s a movie full of constant smiling and then sadness, and done oh so well.
